In January, the sun in Mikkeli rises at 8am and sets at 4pm. This gives lazy people like me, who can't wake up at the break of dawn a chance to see the spectacular view of the sunrise (and sunset)!!
Here in Singapore, the sun rises around 7AM and sets at 7PM. I love the fact that it sets at 7PM because I get to go home before dark. But wow, 8AM-4PM? So that makes your days very short? That's pretty cool!
